We extend our profound appreciation for her tireless efforts in promoting unity, enhancing the capacity of women, and ensuring that the voices of ordinary people resonate clearly in the political arena. Indeed, her compassion and resilience have remained a source of strength to our support groups, and a compelling motivation to work harder—particularly in mobilising votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In this regard, we call on all women, elders, and stakeholders across our communities to join hands with the Office of the National Grassroots Mobilization. Let us continue to sensitise and educate our people on the gains already recorded, the renewed hope agenda now unfolding, and the imperative of sustaining Nigeria’s development through continuity.
Once again, Happy 66th Birthday, No. 1 Mother of the Nation. May long life, good health, divine protection, and abundant grace attend you now and always, as you remain a beacon of light to the entire nation.

First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has appealed to voters in the South-East to support the re-election of her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the 2027 presidential election.
Her recent visit to Imo State, a key part of the South-East outreach, was designed to reaffirm the resolve of the people and remind the region of the need to re-elect Mr. Bola Tinubu in 2027.
The First Lady made the appeal on Wednesday in Owerri, Imo State, during her official visit to empower women across the region.
“Make una vote for Mr President, we go work for una and Nigeria go better.
“I want to enjoy Nigeria at old age, so I will work for Nigeria, for my old age,” she said.
She explained that the empowerment programme is being implemented through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adding that when completed, it would benefit 18,500 women nationwide.
She noted that 500 women from each of the five South-East states would receive various items to support their businesses, including generators, industrial grinding machines, gas cylinders, and ovens. According to her, these interventions are meant to build broader support for Tinubu through the activities of her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
She further stated that her initiatives and empowerment programmes have already brought additional empowerment items to 2,000 women in Imo State, bringing the total beneficiaries to 2,500. Remi, Tinubu also announced an additional cash support of N100,000 for each beneficiary under the programme.
She said the initiative is intended to recognise the critical role women play in nation-building and economic development, stressing that it aligns with the broader agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu—one that prioritises economic growth and sustainable development for all Nigerians, particularly women.
Tinubu urged beneficiaries to utilise the resources wisely to improve their livelihoods and support their families.
“Let it serve as a foundation for creating a better life for you and your family,” she said, while reiterating her call for support and votes for President Tinubu.

Speaking during the event, the governor commended President Tinubu’s performance, saying that the people of Imo State appreciate the administration and would support his re-election in 2027.
Uzodimma also praised the Federal Government for the empowerment programme, describing it as an initiative aimed at promoting the dignity and economic empowerment of women. He said the people of Imo have observed the Federal Government’s infrastructural and developmental interventions within the state.
“Let him know that Imo people are happy with him; that we are happy with his performance. Let him know that he is doing very well. We stand with him, and we deeply appreciate his resolute commitment to a stronger, more prosperous, safer and more united Nigeria,” Uzodimma said.
He reaffirmed that the people of Imo will remain solidly behind President Tinubu ahead of the January 2027 election.
“I assure you that we will reciprocate this love. We will stand firmly behind our beloved President in January 2027. We will speak with one united, unequivocal voice to stand by those who have consistently stood by us,” he added.
