Engr. Dr Wuraola Owolabi Advises Young Engineers to be Digitally Prepared to Face the Dynamic in Engineering Profession. By CHINONYEREM IGWE, Abuja.


A passionate  Engineer,and a memberof North Central Development Commission representing South West Goe-political Zone, Engr(Dr.) Atinuke Wuraola Owolabi has disclosed that engineering is about infrastructure and projects and infrastructure is the basic  foundation and the foundation for any meaningful growth in any country.
Engr.(Dr) Wuraola Owolabi made the assertion yesterday at the National Headquarters, Nigeria Society of Engineers Abuja, during the  Nigeria Society of Engineers Bwari Branch organized their Annual General Meeting and Conference that will culmnate in the induction of engineers  into Bwari Branch.
According to her for a society to move forward  it needs to have engineering infrastructures and projects that would stand the test of time and of international standards and also meet the needs of the  project or infrastructure.
With the theme of the Conference ' Sustainable Infrastructure, Resilient Nation: Engineering Solutions for Growth and Climate Action." Answering questions from journalists,she disclosed that her paper presentation focused on any new project being built must serve the intention for which it was built. It must serve the.purpose the establishment of such a project 
Dr. Wuraola Owolabi further warned that any infrastructureal engineering being built today should not one that would danger, threaten the lives of the users of the infrastructure 
She was one the opinion that in the planning of any infrastructure or project that  is capable and qualified engineers should be involved right from, budgeting, procurement and execution of the contract to ensure international standards is followed 
In her words of advice to young Engineers,she advised them to embrace digital technology in engineering and to digitally skilled to  be able to meet the dynamics in engineering.
