The Amanyabo of Finima, in Bonny, Rivers State, His Royal Highness, Engr. Dagogo Alabo Brown, has described the annual National Oil and Gas (NOG) event as a veritable platform for %1 local content development in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria.
The revered monarch and an engineer stated this while responding to questions from journalists at the 2026 Oil and Gas Conference in Abuja. He noted that the National Oil and Gas Exhibition, which has been held for over seven years, has consistently played a pivotal role in strengthening the oil and gas industry, both domestically and internationally.
He further reiterated the importance of the conference as a conduit for fostering productive collaborations and identifying common partners among local and foreign exhibitors. He commended Nigeria for the strides it has made in developing the oil and gas sector in recent years.
According to the traditional ruler, Nigeria is gradually realizing its core objectives in the oil and gas industry. He also applauded the organizers of the conference, particularly the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), for their steadfast commitment and for sustaining strong participation at this year’s Oil and Gas Conference.
