A renowned Fellow of the Institute of Appraisal and Cost Engineers, Engineer Zamani Ishaya, FNSE, FEngr, Val, FAub, expressed profound joy following his induction as a Fellow of the Institute and his role as Lead Paper Presenter at the conference.
According to him, the paper examines the legal and institutional framework for entrenching Appraisal and Cost Engineering as provided for under Chapters 98, 99, and 100, which confers on the Institute the exclusive mandate to evaluate, assess, and cost engineering works and structures across the land.
In responses to questions from journalists, Engr. He noted that compliance would help prevent wastage and ensure that funds saved could be redirected to other national priorities, particularly through Private–Public Partnerships (PPP).
On the award bestowed on him, he said he dedicated the honour to the Institute of Appraisal and Cost Engineers, and to the advancement of engineering infrastructure.
The occasion featured the induction of over thirty (30) Appraisal and Cost Engineers, who received their seals of practice. They were drawn from every part of the country.
