One of the  Frontline runners of Governorship aspirants in Benue State under All Progressive Congress,,Arc Anthony Obekpa has expressed his deepest sadness  over  the  recent the recent tragic massacre  of innocent people in Mbalom, Gwer-East LGA of Benue State, where over 20 lives were lost to bandits.
According to the fearless politician more wer still missing, and numerous individuals have been injured.  
He this appeal.during a press release made available to pressmen.
He profoundly is the opportunity to extend his heart felt sympathy tosincerest condolences to the families of the victims and pray that the Almighty God grants them peace and forgiveness.

Arch. Obekpa said,' frequency of such incidents is alarming, and it's imperative that the government takes decisive action to ensure the safety and security of its citizens. It's time for the government to rise to its responsibility and put an end to the continuous bloodshed°

 He further tasked  the people saddled with the responsibility especially the government, the  security agencies to do more to take concrete measures to protect its citizens and prevent such tragedies in the future. If a government is unable to provide adequate security, 
In conclusion,he challenged the Government to consider stepping aside and allowing a more competent  leadership  to take to take control of the ugly scenerio.
