One of the Governorship aspirants in Benue State for the 2027 general,Arch.Anthony Obekpa has vowed never  to bowdown to any internal or external pressures ,that he was one
three pioneers  people that brought  the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Benue State. 
and so he sees All Progressive Congress  as one family and see no reasons  defectiing  to any other political party.
Arch. Anthony Obekpa made declaration in his office  recently during an interview with newsmen. The outspoken  politicians,dispelled rumours making waves that he wants to defect into another . party as a blatant lies, being.carrid around by people who do not want progress and development in Benue State .
 
Arch.Obekpa swore  to remain in APC till the kingdom come, adding that ‘’the moment I leave APC, then I have quit politics altogether.’’,he said.
Expressing his views on the two Congress that produced different chairmen in the State, he made it clear that Congress that.produced Austin Agada remains.the authentic State Congress of APC.

The governor aspirant said that this is not the first time that rumour mongers have associated him with all manner of plots or speculations, adding that ‘’they said I wanted to follow some movement Obekpa also reiterated his resolven to work with Austin Agada, to achieve  victory for APC comes 2027 .
