Heavy Duty Vehicles Owners, Frown at no Park for Them in Jalingo- CHiNONYEREM IGWE. Jalingo.

  The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport.Workers (NURTW)Jalingo Branch, Heavy Duty Section,Alhaji Lawan Shauibu has decried the inability of the Present Government of Taraba State under Kefas Agbu to listen to their crys over parking space in Jalingo and other places in Taraba State.

The.Chairman made clarification when a team of Journalists on a fact finding mission had an interactive section with him. He said that the Union has made several.appeals to Government of Agbu Kefas to come to their rescue, through the state
Ministry of transportation and other visits  for befitting Heavy Duty Vehicles Parks,but have yeilded no fruitful results.
He expressed  his displeasure over the Government's lukewarm attitudes towards constructing a park of trailers  after so many years of consultation.
Alhaji Shuaibu also used the opportunity to plead with the Government of Taraba State to caution the illegal road block and turn this heavily duty vehicles into money making machines by extorting money illegally from them and other forms of road harassment and abuse by law enforcement agencies.
He lamented the activities of these illegal road blocks and chechpoints have caused untold lost of lives and goods amongst the members.
In conclusion the Chairman said his Union was ready to work with the Government to ensure safe transportation system in Taraba State.
