Bishop Nixon Jallo of The Praise Church, Marks his Birthday by Encouraging Christians to Be Fully involved in Nation's Governance. By CHiNONYEREM IGWE - Jalingo

There are men of God and there are men of God. And they are men of God who have devoted their lives to God Almighty and humanity and impacted positively to the people who come close to them. People never regret meeting them. Infact this is the attributes of His Lordship, Bishop Nixon Jallo of  The.Praise Church , Jalingo, Taraba State. January 1st marked another birthday of his godly life. 
On this date March 8, the entire Church Members decided to honour,celebrate and rejoice with him at the Jalingo Branch of the Church.
After the end of the eventful Church Service, BAZELINENEWS and other media had opportunity to interact with him in his office. 
   In his first response, Bishop Nixon Jallo made it catigorically clear that Christians in Nigeria should be actively involved in  Nigeria politics .He stated if righteous  Christians refuse  to venture into Governance and politics ,then Christians are paving ways for miscreants to mess up the.governance Nigeria.He said according to his words "as far as I am  concerned Nigeria does not have leaders, rather rulers of  variou political positions to achieve their selfish aims and goals and that of their cronies."Nigeria is struggling because no righteous people especially  Righteous Christians manning  leadership of this country called Nigeria '.He explained further that if righteous people are steering the leadership of this country, the nation will  grow.for better rather than what we are witnessing "
The man of God went further to criticize the opposition parties which seemed to align their ideology with the ruling party and cannot present a formidable opposition to the government in authority.An opposition system in Nigeria is dead because all the parties lacked good Governance. He frowned with the way things are going in Nigeria because the righteous people have refused to take their positions and leave them for Lions and  hyenas who found it happy looting the National Treasury .
His Lordship, Nixon Jallo,was of the opinion that praying for those in Authority is not for the leaders that  are milking the country, the looters of the National Treasury and the oppressors of the masses.  According to him "the Holy Bible says when the Righteous rules the country, the.citizens will rejoice and be happy,so I'm that case the leaders should be prayed for and not the wicked leaders.
However,he was of the opinion that prayer is important to encourage righteous leaders to do more and more. "A situation where by a yet to settle down government would announce subsidy removal without putting certain things in order is anti people's policy and undemocratic" he disclosed.
The Man of God quickly admonished Christians and the Church to be actively and seriously involved in National politics and it should not be left in the hands of people who do not fear God or those who relegate Christianity and Church to the background.
He advised Christians and the Church as 2027 general election is fast approaching, they should brace up for the challenges ahead . According him, if the Righteous Christians refuse to be involved in In politics, the consequences will be more than what we are witnessing today and Christians will be turned to fetchers of water and hewers.of wood in a country that they have equal stake with any other religions.
On the recent massacre and persecution of Christians in the Northern part of Nigeria, he replied, "persecution will continue to occur, because Our Lord Jesus was perecuted,. Apostles were massacred and Disciples killed and Christianity has suffered all these and it has helped the  Faith Spread like wide fire to all corners of the.world. The faithfuls are growing stronger and stronger despite in the midst of persecution and murders.
Concluding, Bishop Nixon Jallo said,".I woul like to have LEGACIES when I leave office as a Bishop who changed lives, Bishop that have  touched with the Word of God: lives that have been transformed; lives that are walking according to tenets of God, and all in all seeing Repented Souls for Christ Jesus" he ended.
