Rt. Hon Timothy Dantong Calls. for Total Support for Caleb Mutfwang and Advocates for Peace in Plateau State. By CHiNONYEREM Igwe.

A former Deputy Speaker in the Plateau State House of Assembly RT. Hon Timothy Dantong has urged the good people of plateau State to be kin what goes around the governance of their state.Rt Hon. Timothy stated this recently at  Yakubu Gowon International Airport,Jos during the defection of the Governor of Plateau State Mutfwang Caleb from People Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressive Congress in Jos  recently. Speaking  to newsmen Rt. Hon. Timothy advised the people plateau State that moving to another party does not absolve the government from constructive criticism from the areas they are not doing well,but also afford the people the opportunity to advise the government where necessary. According to him,"everybody should join in the unity of Plateau State to move the state ahead to achieve developmental steadiness" 
 Moving further,he said that political fight definitely would slow down development in the state,but in a.situation where the government is fired barrage of negative criticism without offering solutions would not be in the best interest of plate people. Rt Hon. Timothy Dantiong said, '' the Gov.should now concentrate more on the development of the state, rather thinking about re election budgeting,but invest to improve the economy of the.state. His Excellency Caleb Mutfwang can now focus his attention to the development of the state and other dividends of democracy in atmosphere of no bitterness and rancour. '' . He pleaded the people of Plateau State to support the Governor,he concluded.
