Gov. Agbu Kefas Publicly Declares for All Progressive Congress (APC) and promised to Work For the Renewed Hope Agenda. By CHiNONYEREM Igwe in Jalingo.

Jalingo, the State capital of Taraba  State was agoged  as the members of the ruling All Progressive Congress from Nationals.Headquaters led by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Kashim Shettima, the National Chairman of the party Prof Nantewe Yawaltda, Governors of the Progressive Forum.and other critical Stakeholders, Storm  Jalingo to formally welcome the Governor of Taraba State , His Excellency Agbu Kefas to the ruling All Progressive Congress into their fold.
The BAZELINENEWS was  there live to  witness the epoch making event and were able to get on the spot accessment of the ceremony.
In separate interviews with some major stakeholders,were.of the opinion that his defection was the  right steps in the right directions.
A former law maker and strong supporters of Agbu Kefas. Hon Solomon Elisha applauded  him for picking the courage to align with ruling party at the central.'Kefas joining.APC that would  attract  dividends of democracy  to the people. Speaking further , he opined that he is  going  to bring Taraba State to the mainstream of APC and at the same time get what other states that are of APC  are benefitng from the center ,and Taraba State will get their on fair share of dividends of democracy.' He urged the people of Taraba to fully support His Excellncy Agbu Kefas in a bid to bring Taraba into the main stream administration of  Federal  Gov.thereby  bringing in more dividends of Democracy to State and aligned the Renewed Hope agenda of President He also advised His Excellency Agbu Kefas to also carry along every member along especially now that  general election is around the corner.
Addressing journalists at the venue the Deputy  National Women Leader  Hajia Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim   praised the.Governor's.courage to join to APC reacting on the Governor's for defection, the State Publicly Secret of APC, Comr Aaron Artimas a founding member of All Progressive Congress in Taraba State expressed his joy of the defection of Agbu Kefas as it would usher inTaraba State into the vision and mission of Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu promise to the people of Nigeria. He further opined Kefas  joining APC would afford him the opportunity to interact with broader APC Governors and attract developmental ideas and would put Taraba State in the commity of developing state in Nigeria.
He believed that with State being  one the richest state in Nigeria, in term of minerals resources Taraba State under Agbu Kefas will develop at powerful.speed.
Aq"With Gov.being to the APC the dream of Mambilla power plant that can generate up to 45000.mega watts of electricity will be completed with during the tenure of Kefas.
He pleaded the people of the people of Taraba to cue solidly  behind Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Gov.of Taraba State especially come 2027 general election.
Amongst the dignitaries that graced the auspecious defection were Vice President Kashim Shetima, Deputy Senate President  Jubril Barau, National  Assembly Members,and host of APC Governors.
