Agbu Kefas Declares for President Ahmed. Bola Tinubu as He joins the APC. By CHINONYEREM IGWE, Jalingo

Jalingo the State capital of Taraba was agog as the members of the Ruling All Progressive Congress from Nationals.Headquaters led by the Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria,Sen. Kashim Shettima, that National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress,Prof Nantewe Yawaltda, Governors of the Progressive Forum and other critical Stakeholders  storm the Jalingo to formally welcome the Governor of Taraba State , His Excellency Agbu Kefas to the ruling All Progressive Congress into their fold.
The BAZELINENEWS was live to witness the august and  epoch making event was  available to get on the spot accessment of the ceremony.
In separate interviews with some major stakeholders, some were of the opinion that his defection was the right steps on the right directions.
On how she felt  seeing her Gov joing APC, Hajia ZainabAbubakar Ibrahim, the Deputy National Women Leader thanked God and prayed that her people would throw their support to Gov Kefas's  administration . She was optimistics that  His Excellency Kefas Agbu would deliver tangible projects to the state. "His defection to All Progressive Congress will bring in development to the people of Taraba State. She further  appeal to people to give the Governor  maximum support to achieve  goals for the state.
A former law maker and strong supporters of Agbu Kefas, Hon Solomon Elisha applauded  him for picking the courage to align with the ruling party at the centre ," Kefas joining APC will bring usher in  much  needed dividends of democracy  to the people of Taraba State."
In his statement the Publicity Secretary of APC in Taraba State Comr Aaron Artimas said  " this defection would bring Taraba State to the mainfold of APC family and at the same time  Taraba would get what other states that are of APC  are benefitng from the center ,and  get their own fair share of dividends of democracy.'"  He urged the people of Taraba to fully support His Excellncy Agbu Kefas in a bid to give Taraba State  their pride of place "  . He also advised His Excellency Agbu Kefas to also carry along every member along especially now that  general election is around the corner.

He believed that with State being of one the richest state in Nigeria, in terms of minerals resources Taraba State under Agbu Kefas would develop at a rocket speed.
With Gov. now in APC the dream of Mambilla power plant that can generate up to 45000.mega watts of electricity would be completed  during the tenure of Kefas.Agbu.
He pleaded the people of the people of Taraba to cue solidly  behind Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Gov.of Taraba State especially as general 2027 is fast approaching.
Amongst the dignitaries that graced the auspecious defection were Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. KashimShetima, Deputy Senate President, Jubril Barau,House of Assembly Members,and host of APC Governors.
