In a smart move to ensure that uninterrupted flow of commercial transactions across various locales within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Chairman of the All-Over Informal Market, Alh Ahmed Abdullahi, has issued a fervent appeal for sustained support and authorization for traders to continue their operations at their designated sites from the pertinent governmental authorities.
This earnest entreaty was articulated shortly after the Association's year-end strategic stakeholders meeting, during a press briefing conducted in his office at Area 10, Abuja. The All-Over Informal Market in Abuja epitomizes a coalition of traders within the FCT who operate with minimal adherence to the occupancy regulations imposed by the relevant governmental bodies.
Over time, this circumstance has engendered apprehension and disquiet among the member traders, who consistently grapple with the imminent threat of disruptions and eviction orders from law enforcement agencies. Nevertheless, this appeal emanates from the Chairman's sincere desire to convey the Association's steadfast support and allegiance to the government while imploring consideration of the considerable familial burdens each trader is currently enduring during this pivotal juncture in our national narrative. He emphasized that any eviction at this critical moment would undoubtedly inflict dire repercussions on their livelihoods.
In further remarks, Alh Abdullahi accentuated several notable accomplishments attained under his stewardship, including the establishment of a police outpost, the implementation of a comprehensive sanitary system, and the enforcement of rigorous security measures within the market, among other initiatives.
Ultimately, he seized the occasion to extend heartfelt yuletide greetings to all well-meaning members and patrons of the market during this festive season.
