Eze Omyebuchi Chukwu, has articulated that as Nigeria's political landscape continues to evolve, the paramount concern for Ndigbo is no longer about our position within the nation, but rather how we can express our concerns with a singular, formidable, and esteemed voice in the country's political arena. Historical context, cultural identity, and political realities have unequivocally illustrated that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) remains the sole authentic political platform through which the Igbo nation can effectively negotiate, safeguard its interests, and project its collective aspirations within the Nigerian political milieu. APGA was not conceived out of mere convenience; it emerged from a profound vision, a robust sense of identity, and an unyielding sense of destiny.

According to him, it embodies the political essence of the Igbo people, reflecting our values, our democratic ethos, and our unwavering belief in fairness, equity, enterprise, and communal responsibility. HONOURING THE LAST WISH OF DIM ODUMEGWU OJUKWU, we extend our heartfelt commendation and gratitude to the esteemed people of Anambra State for their steadfast commitment to upholding the historic mandate of APGA, as entrusted to Ndigbo by our revered leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, whose final wish was clear and unmistakable: that APGA should persist as the political sanctuary and rallying point for the Igbo populace.

Pushing harder, he asserts that the trials and tribulations of Ndi Anambra have valiantly defended this mandate with unwavering courage, conviction, and consistency. Today, under visionary leadership, Anambra has exemplified to Nigeria that APGA is not merely a party of identity, but a bastion of competence, development, and progressive governance.

In light of this, Eze Omyebuchi calls upon Abia State to return to APGA and implores the remaining Igbo governors outside the APC, particularly the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, to heed the clarion call of history and rejoin the fold by aligning with APGA. This appeal is not born out of partisanship but rather from a strategic perspective of Igbo interests. Together with Charles Soludo, Governor Otti can fortify APGA as a dominant regional force that commands national respect, thereby providing Ndigbo with a robust platform for political negotiation and relevance.

 

APGA AND THE IGBO IDEOLOGY: APGA stands as the only political party in Nigeria that authentically reflects and safeguards Igbo ideology and democratic culture. It embodies the Igbo philosophy of: "Be your brother's and sister's keeper,"community-first leadership, participatory democracy, integrity, honesty, and accountability, people-oriented governance, and shared prosperity. Unlike other platforms where Igbo interests are often diluted or compromised, APGA exists solely to preserve, project, and promote these virtues.

The industriousness, enterprise, truthfulness, self-reliance, and collective advancement represent our comparative advantage. He also beseeches Senator Victor Umeh and Senator Tony Nwoye to return to APGA, the political platform that nurtured and elevated their careers. He stated that politics is fundamentally about alignment and realignment, as well as structure, loyalty, and alignment with the populace.
