NSCDC Reaffirms Readiness for Anambra Governorship Election, Announces Large-Scale Deployment. By CHINONYEREM IGWE

In preparations for the long awaited Governorship  off  circle election in Anambra  State on November 8, 2025,, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence. Corp  (NSCDC) have shown  their preparedness to get fully involved in forthcoming election. 
 The State Commandant  made the disclosure  when the INEC accredited Journalists  interacted with Corp  Commandant Maku Olatunde at the command's State  Headquarters, Awka , Anambra State.
The command under the agile and able leadership of Maku Olatunde through the media spokesperson of the Corp, Superintendent Edwin Okadigbo,who  stood in for the Commandant Maku Olatunde  urged the good people of Anambra State to come in their large numbers to cast their votes without any fear or molestation.
Speaking further, the Commandant, gave a serious warning to mischief makers, thugs and other hoodlums to stay away from polling Centres,as the Corp is ready go  toe to toe with any unscrupulous elements that would likely disrupt the order of the day.
He, therefore advised peace loving people of Anambra people to go do their legitimate business.
The Commandant also said that over ten thousand 10,000) personnel drafted from fourteen (14) States of the  federation have been deployed in various villages. 
On the flash points, on the election day, the Command said that they and other sister agencies have identified those Red flag areas and have taken measures to mitigate any disturbances. He applauded the cordial relationship with other security agencies for  a better Anambra.
He assured that the security agencies would continue to maintain their neutrality and operate with the ambit of the law.
