Renowned Health Specialist, Dr Lady Queen Ikwuazom calls for collaborations in Health System in Nigeria. By CHINONYEREM IGWE

It was a gathering of who was who young and old. A Summit that was aimed at changing the perceptions of the delegates at the conference Nation's capital ,Abuja.

This was made possible by the giant strides of one particular icon,a health coach, no others than Dr. Lady Queen Ikwuazom to make life bearable to average Nigerians and has changed the narrative  in health care system The occasion saw  gathering of who was who , men and women women in Abuja and out to be part of the august event.

This Conference came at a time, when medical  and health workers are leaving the shores of this country seeking for better working opportunities abroad.

Lady Ikwuazom, an erudite scholar, passionate medical personnel, a bridge builder and a humantarian advocates and to cap it all a Health Coach decided to find her root back to Nigeria to give millions of Nigerians the much needed advice on Healthy Living.

She took it upon her self to educate millions of Nigerian on wellness  and a healthy living habits through her Non Governmental Organization QEI Global Health Summit. An organization  aimed at championing the healthy living standards of Nigerians.

The above were what informed the bases for  this year's Summit, with the theme "Revelation and Revolution of Heatth" for the  QEI's 13th Anniversary celebration.

Right from inception of the summit. Dr. Lady  Queen Ikwuazom has been carring  the burden to organizing the conference and ensuring that participants benefit a lot and go home happily. At 3Js Hotel  here in Abuja people from all parts of the world to lay credence to the outstanding leadership of the convener,Lady Queen

Ikwuazom,respected for her humility, kindness and easy-going,homely, and lovely characters.

 In a short media interview, Lady Queen Ikwuazom said that she sees her self as a health coach, daughter of God. According to her the journey of what she is doing today started when she was in the United States of America and God inspired her to return to her country Nigeria, because of her experience in health sector and awareness creation.,and to counter the upsurge in death and sickness that ordinarily could be treated and avoided

Speaking further," diabetes, cancer were aliens to our forefathers  The Summit was about how to prevent and treat these diseases most people believe that are incurable, but also preventable.   The Summit had men and women  of substances  who deliberated on vital health issues that are quite challenging to people and creating awareness about these diseases.

Lady Queen sees herself calling  like a ministry to propagate the gospel of healthy living and wellness of the body system. Throwing more light on the importance of the  summit was to make Nigerians to understand that there are other ways  of saving life and that was the reason she has been  educating people on finding solutions to problems and her Organization QEI has been pushing for that for many years back. 

She also disclosd that the organization has been moving from states to states to carry out crusade  of Wellness and Healthy Living. She said,all that had been reversed".

Giving further details on why  the theme of the summit, she replied ' the theme Revelation and Revolution came to them through God and all of  them accepted it, especially when you look at all  the topics and every one cued into it,we  conceived the topic since April 2035 and look at where it has taken the organization
to. The major aim of the topic was to rebuild the people that there are ways to get ones health back without poisoning and there are to do things without using chemicals, because chemicals are dangerous to our bodies she said. She defined revelation as "to awaken ones mind from changes  to what you know before to what you know differently and you get empowered and try to do strange things "

On her expectations at the end of the summit, she said that she expected government to cue into her dreams and partner with her. And  people  should also  open their minds and listen.At the end of the summit we are going to partner with people to come and support us and invest in us, as we are non profit making organizations.When people invest in us ,we are going to open our Healing Center which will come on board in 2026. Hospital will be built in remote village, people from all over the world will come and access treatment with state of the art medical facilities, there is no sickness cannot be cured " she echoed.

Dr Lady Queen Ikwuazom, finally,  said during the summit soft loans will be given to members to boost their business through a co-operative society and the loans,ranging from One hundred thousand to ten million.

 Also answering questions from newsmen ,a friend to Dr Lady Queen, Apostle Fredrick Huff from  Atlanta Georgia, the United States of America said that he came to be  with Lady Queen because the the first time they met each other. Lady Queen scanned him of an illness he was suffering and she advised him on what to do  to get better. "I did believe her until she invited me in one of her summit last year and things changed ".He praised Dr Ikwuazom for her great help he  enjoys from her family and since then the relationship has been growing between the two families.

Apostle Fredrick Huff said the relationship lead  him to visiting Dr Lady Queen Ikwuazom village and they gave  him an Igbo name.." CHIGAEMEZUNKWAYA" Meaning God will fulfill his promise. " I am very proud to associate with her and her family "

On what will be his take home at the end of the Summit,he said 'information, and information gives  revelation ,he concluded 

Apostle Fredrick said he is now a Nigeria and he has orphanage home  Benin City , Edo State.

Also speaking during his keynote address, the Deputy Speaker of House of Representative, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, represented by one of his aids , applauded Lady Queen for her vision to ensuring the sanctity of life is preserved. He said that the state of health in Nigeria deserved urgent attention. He disclosd that within last five years over fifteen thousand medical personnels have left the shores of Nigeria and less than fifty  thousand doctors barely remain to cater for two hundred and fifty millions Nigerians. It potends danger to our health care system and it doe not speak good of the country.

He said " what is required now is  not lamentation, but transformation that  must t reverse the ugly trend in health care system, and a health system that will build a trust in our national healthcare system will reward excellence and restore hope to Nigeria workforce.

He reiterated the resolve of 10th  National Assembly under  the able leadership of Rt Hon. Tajudeen Abbas has placed human capital Legislative agenda to its  priority. House is committed to strenthing the implementation of National health care Act.

To achieving this, the Abuja declaration of ,10% National Assembly budget  on heath and improving workforce retention through better work  incentives. The  House has also commended  Faith based organizations for taking the lead in health sector.

Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu therefore urged Nigerians not see the migration as a loss, but also an opportunity renewal.

He opined ," Nigeria doctors  in Diaspora are assets to Nigeria  whose knowledge and experience must be harnessed.". He went ahead to disclose that house has developed frame work to enable structured collaboration, knowledge and exchange membership between local and global brands professionals 

The Deputy Speaker, therefore praised Founder of QEI Health Concepts Ltd,Dr Lady Queen Ikwuazom for her doggedness, boldness and resilience in tackling health issues in Nigeria. He congratulated her for organizing her 13th Anniversary celebration and wished delegates peaceful deliberations 

The Four days event had series of lectures, speakers on the event and were drawn from within and outside Nigeria. The  Summit concluded with gala night dinner and award recognition 

to deserving individuals.
