Hon Maurice Orwough Sets Standard for Benue LGA Chairmen.

The Local Governmt headquarters of Guma Local Government Area of Benue State Gbajimba was in celebrative mood,  when the Executive Chairman of the Council ,Hon Maurice Orwough celebrated his 365 days as the Council Chairman of Guma LGA with  a landmark commissioning of various capital intensive projects executed by his administration within one year in  office as the Executive Chairman of Guma LGA . 
Addressing crowd supporters at the council Secretariat. Hon Maurice Orwough said that his passion for development stemed from his love  to bring dividend of Democracy to the grassroots, as the LGA administration is the closest to the people.He said that his commitment to develop the Area has lead him to embark on these developmental projects.
According to him, the projects was to have conducive environments to perform the executive functions of Chairman efficiently,espacially now that His Excellency Rev. Father Alia has given marching order to  all the Chairmen to reside in the respective Local Government Area.
Speaking further, Hon Orwough said that under his one hundred years in office he commissioned a state of the art clinic in one the town in the LGA. So , according to him within one years in office over fifteen projects are on going and the executive Chairman's office and Guest House at the Local Government headquarters Gbajimba.
He however, explained that beginning from 7th October  2025 his administration would be embarking series of projects commissioning within Guma LGA.
Hon. Maurice , therefore, thanked the Executive Gov. Benue State Rev. Alia for giving him opportunity to serve his people. He also expressed his heart  felt gratitude to the people of Guma Local Government Area for finding him worthy to serve them and promised never to let them down and urged well meaning people of the Guma to support his administration to achieve maximum progress. It will be recalled that Hon. Maurice Orwough was sworn in on October 7, 2024.
The epoch making commissioning was witnessed by high profile dignitaries including the representative of  Governor of Benue State, Deputy Chairman of  Guma  LGA. Speaker of the council chambers and many more ,especially his former
media colleagues who  came from various parts of the country to add colours to the occasion.
A high point of the occasion was presentation of souvenir by his media friends.
